departed this life on February 14, 2010, at home, and now is in the presence of the Lord.
Barbara C. Chinn Price was born on March 3,1923 in Providence, Rhode Island to the parents of Pauline Wheeler Chinn Bentley and Ralph Chinn.
She was the devoted wife of Paul R Price, they would have been married 70 years on May 29, 1940, she was also a a loving mother to their four children, Ronald T Price, Paulette Gonsalves, Paul R Price Jr, all of Providence RI and Darlene Clark of Atlanta, Ga.
She had 9 grandchildren Eugene EPG Gonsalves, Christeen Liggins, Ronald, Robert, and Gerald Price, Khalid and Dorothy Mason, Merideth Webb and Tiffani Price. Sixteen Great Grand children and six great great grand children. Two son-inlaws Emilio Gonsalves and Melvin Clark, two daughter-inlaws Eve Price and the late Nathalie a cousin Thomas Wheeler of Providence and several nieces and nephews., and a host of friends. She retired from Hospital Trust Bank in 1980 were she worked in the safety deposit dept. She was a member of The Church of God and Saints of Christ First Tabernacle, Overseer Elder Scott also The Eastern Star’s and the Daughter of Isis affiliated with the Prince Hall.
She was once told by her minister that if there was ever and angel on earth it was her. I think that is the best way to describe Barbara she will be sadly missed by all who knew her , because if you knew her you loved her that is the type person she was.

Calling hours will be held Thursday from 10am to noon followed by a Homegoing Service in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln off Smithfield Ave. Burial will be in North Burial Ground, Providence.
